How It Works

If you’ve served in the military, we offer a streamlined admissions process to you, as well as your families, making it easy to apply to CSU-Global. Plus, we’ll waive the application fee.

Our military-focused academic and financial services advisors, as well as our instructors, receive specialized, intensive training so that they’re able to best assist you.

A policy which has certainly helped the 32% of our military students who are on active duty , states that any student who is a member of the U.S. Military, National Guard, or other armed forces reserve unit who is called to active duty may be granted a Military Leave of Absence for the duration of their service.

CSU-Global classes are offered year-round, in 8-week terms. This allows our students to speed up the graduation process, or take breaks if they need it and pick up right where they left off. The 100% online aspect of CSU-Global allows our students to do their schoolwork anywhere, at any time, as long as you have access to the internet.

CSU-Global also offers a wide variety of transfer credit and credit by exam options. We accept up to 90 transfer credits, 60 of which can be non-traditional. Military Credit, ACE, CLEP, DSST and StraighterLine through a Joint Services Transcript may all be accepted.

About 55% of our students that are affiliated with the military were able to receive credit for their military experience.

Finally, depending on your status, your military benefits may come in a variety of forms. The veteran’s education benefits have undoubtedly helped a majority of our 1,185 student-veterans, and as one of the few online military-friendly universities, CSU-Global will defer tuition payment while your military benefits are processing.
